Cut and sew starts with a garment specification and pattern. Fabric is cut into panels and sewn into the approved silhouette. It gives a brand control over fit, construction, fabric, trims and finishing. It is the right route when the garment itself is part of the creative idea.
We develop apparel programs across tops, outerwear and headwear. The product brief determines the fabric, construction and manufacturing partner. Share your references, intended use, quantities and delivery date so we can define a workable production route.
Design and development: turn the brief into silhouettes, artwork, patterns and factory-ready tech packs. Source fabrics, trims and labels around the intended product.
Sampling: review prototypes, measurements and fit, then approve the production reference in writing. Production: coordinate bulk manufacturing, quality control, labelling and packaging with our factory partners. Delivery: manage freight, customs, kitting and the agreed final destination.

Google I/O: enterprise merchandise
A merchandise and gifting program spanning apparel, headwear, accessories and packaging, with sampling, production and freight coordinated around event dates.
Choose cut and sew when you need an original silhouette, specified fabric, custom panelling or construction details. Choose decorated blanks when an existing garment already meets the fit and fabric requirements and the primary customization is artwork or embroidery.
Development, materials, order quantity and delivery requirements affect both routes. We review those tradeoffs against the brief before recommending a production approach.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums depend on the garment, fabric, colourways, trims and factory requirements. Send quantities by style and colour with your brief so we can confirm feasibility and the applicable minimums.
How long does custom cut and sew take?
The schedule includes development, sourcing, sampling and approvals, bulk production and freight. A delivery date must account for each stage. Share your required in-hand date at the start so the production route can be assessed against it.
Do I need a finished tech pack?
We can develop a brief from concepts and references through original patterns and factory-ready tech packs. If you already have specifications, share them with the product references and quantity breakdown.
Where are the products manufactured?
MAGNUM Opus is a Los Angeles development and production management studio. Manufacturing takes place with vetted factory partners selected for the product. Our Coachella program includes overseas production. Confirm the manufacturing location for your specific brief.
What determines the price?
Fabric, garment construction, quantities, colourways, decoration, trims, sampling, packaging and freight all affect the quote. A useful brief includes the product references, quantity per style, target budget, destination and required delivery date.
Send the garment references, quantities by style and colour, target budget, delivery location and required in-hand date. We will review the scope and the next development steps.
